Experience with APPUiO Public shows that sometimes it’s necessary to do corrections to existing invoices. Reason might be bugs in the invoice generation or some misconfiguration. The most efficient way to fix such cases is to run the invoice generation again. The faulty invoices are then replaced by the new and corrected ones. Usually changes to invoices can be made until any company accounting creates the annual financial reports. In order to do such changes the source data has to be still available. The retention time of two years is considered to be sufficient for such cases. This takes into account, that the annual financial report are finalized after the financial year has ended and some headroom is required.
